How to add Teddy to Codex
- Download Teddy’s ZIP above.
- Copy the message below and paste it into Codex with the ZIP attached.
- After installation, choose Teddy in Codex’s pet selector.
Install the attached Teddy 5.0 custom pet. First verify the ZIP SHA-256 is b1fdcb32cbc57cf19df2e6a895878537179a1ff440f357c5234a1ffe52af8e73. Reject extra or unsafe archive entries. Verify pet.json and spritesheet.webp, spriteVersionNumber 2, and a 1536×2288 atlas before replacement. Preserve unrelated files. Back up both existing Teddy files together under pets/.teddy-recovery/teddy.pre-v5 so the backup cannot appear as a duplicate pet. Never overwrite an existing backup. Stage and verify both new files, then install them together in my Codex pets/teddy directory. Restore the original pair if installation fails. Tell me how to select Teddy and restore my backup.
